Alternative Norfolk Postcards

This series of work was a project carried out to challenge the conventions of traditionalist postcards.

Visit any high street gift shop across the North Norfolk coastline and you'll be greeted with the glossy 4x6 sheen of a sunset over the sea or a pebbled beach with a seagull.

These are the standardised norms I wanted to break free from within this project and show people what Norfolk can be, the barns that farmers work within, the boats that fishermen float out to sea on; to the tractors that pull them ashore and the grain stores that keep the distinct flavours of Adnams ales alive.

This is North Norfolk.
